Join us for a boat trip from Kings Cross along London's Historic Regents Canal!  Short local trips or excusions to Islington via the 200 years old Islington Boat Tunnel, all aboard a Traditional Narrowboat.

  • 30 minute local cruise or a 60 minute cruise to Islington (Via the Tunnel)

About our Trips from Kings Cross (Granary Square)

Aboard Our 30 Minute Cruise Of Kings Cross:​

Travel along the Regent's Canal, through the Kings Cross area, with it’s buildings dating back to Britain’s industrial period, passing Camley Street Nature Reserve, managed by London Wildlife Trust. 

Pass by St Pancras Lock, along side the historically famous St Pancras Water Tower and Gasholder park. We will then take an excursion past Word On The Water (Bookshop), before turning into Battle Bridge Basin where you will see some of the most sought after house boats in the country. Finally seeing in the London Canal Museum, which formerly used to be an Victoria Icewell!

All before returning to Kings Cross Granary Square for a set down.

TIP: This trip is especially pretty at night! Kings Cross and Battle Bridge basin are all well illuminated for some great photos!

Adult prices are £10 per person

Concession Rates are £8 per person (Senior 60+, Student, Child etc)

Infants Travel for Free but require a reservation (4 years old and under)

Aboard Our 60 minute Cruise to Islington via the Tunnel:

​

Travel along the Regent's Canal, through the Kings Cross area, with it’s buildings dating back to Britain’s industrial period, passing Camley Street Nature Reserve, managed by London Wildlife Trust. 

Pass by St Pancras Lock, along side the historically famous St Pancras Water Tower and Gasholder park. We will then proceed pass Word On The Water (Bookshop) and Battle Bridge Basin before proceeding towards the 200 year old Islington Tunnel. The Islington Tunnel is roughly three quarters of a mile long. We will then emerge out of the tunnel arriving in the luscious green spaces of Islington and the City Road Lock. 

Passengers can either alight here or return to Kings Cross.

 

(If you leave the boat in Islington, you cannot rejoin the vessel later. Those wishing to disembark in Islington, journey time is 30 minutes.)

TIP: There's plenty to do and see in Islington. If you don't wish to travel back to Kings Cross, let your Skipper know you'd like to disembark here.
