Only accessible by boat, the Islington Tunnel is over 800 meters long, and 200 years old. This trip begins and ends in Kings Cross Granary Square.





About our Kings Cross - Islington Tunnel Tour
What will you see aboard our skippered narrow boat tour?
Travel along the Regent's Canal, through the Kings Cross area, with it’s buildings dating back to Britain’s industrial period, passing Camley Street Nature Reserve, managed by London Wildlife Trust. Turning around along side the historically famous St Pancras Water Tower and Gasholder park. The the trip will then continue past London Canal Museum (with it's Victorian Ice Well) before seeing some finer bits of canal infrastructure.
We'll then enter the Islington Tunnel, at 200 years old and 800m long, before arriving into the picturesque and idyllic Islington City Road Basin where we will turn around and you will have one final chance to see the tunnel again.
All before setting down in Kings Cross Granary Square, where the tour will end.

Concession Rates are £12 per person (Senior 60+, Student, Child etc)
Infants Travel for Free but require a reservation (4 years old and under)
